Description
This exam is based on the CalMHSA training surrounding California's Lanterman-Petris-Short (LPS) Act and the 5150 process, focusing on the legal and ethical considerations surrounding involuntary psychiatric holds, patient rights, and clinical decision-making in emergency mental health situations. Participants will apply for the exam and once approved those who pass with an 80% or greater will receive a certificate that will need to be recertified every 2 years.
