Designing Effective Wellness & Safety Plans (Independent Study)

The ELI Designing Effective Wellness & Safety Plans training is designed to help Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSSs) develop effective strategies for promoting wellness in their work environments. This training focuses on identifying key wellness challenges and providing solutions, while emphasizing the importance of self-care in fostering personal well-being.

Description

The ELI Designing Effective Wellness and Safety Plans training is a comprehensive 4-hour session designed to equip Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSSs) with the tools and strategies to gain a deep understanding of the importance of wellness and safety planning. Participants will learn how to overcome resistance, build trust and navigate sensitive conversations in peer support settings. The training guides participants through a holistic approach to create personalized Wellness and Safety Plans that assess needs, define action steps, and consider potential "what if" scenarios.  By the end of the session, participants will be empowered to develop comprehensive Wellness and Safety Plans that promote long-term well-being, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of care.
