This highly interactive program blends legal foundations with practical application:

  • Practice with DHCS 1801 documentation through case scenarios and peer feedback.
  • Learn de-escalation and person-centered strategies that reduce unnecessary holds.
  • Engage in case-based discussions that explore clear-cut and complex situations, including co-occurring substance use.
