Conflict resolution is a critical skill for Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSSs) and other helping professionals, as it involves managing various conflicts, including intrapersonal (inner struggles), interpersonal (disagreements and confrontations with others), and ethical challenges. Mastering effective conflict resolution maintains safety, fosters positive relationships, and promotes healthy work environments. InELI: Conflict Resolution training, CPSSs will learn strategies rooted in peer support principles to resolve conflicts constructively and empathetically. Participants will explore the dynamics and causes of conflict, understand the impact of self-awareness, communication styles, personal boundaries, and develop creative problem-solving skills to enhance their ability to support individuals in recovery while maintaining healthy, respectful relationships.
